I continue to be blessed by God as the journey of my book, “I Wanted to Ask My Dad” unfolds.
My local printer created a proof for me to review with my Design Editor as we prepare for the final, hard cover, first edition. This current proof copy is saddle-stitched (stapled) and does not yet have the final hard cover.
As I share this proof copy with family, friends, and acquaintances, the response has been so encouraging. When they ask “where in the process” this book currently is, I let them know that to self-publish “I Wanted to Ask My Dad” as a hard cover, using a US-based printer and bindery, I need a minimum order of 250 books. To cover the cost of this minimum order, I must ask $50 for each pre-ordered copy.

Showing the proof one-on-one or in small gatherings, has been a sort of “soft launch”. Yet, as I work to create a broader outreach, God has already moved 21 people to pre-order a total of 25 copies.
I get the feeling He is just getting started.
